WHERE THE JOURNEY BEGINS
After a pandemic-filled year, where New Yorkers have been confined to our apartments and forced to connect through Zoom calls and from behind masks, young people need camp now more than ever! That is why Steve’s Camp at Horizon Farms is passionately dedicated to offering a safe in-person summer camp experience. Check out our ever-evolving safety plan for more information.
The camp experience is centered around the holistic idea of building healthy hearts, bodies, and minds. While every session is broken up thematically this year, each will mix healthy living and leadership development with a heavy dose of fun.
Healthy Body (activities aimed at trying new things): Daily warm-ups, challenge course activities, biking, hiking, and nature workshops.
Healthy Hearts (activities focused on working with others): Eco-challenge, Top Chef Challenge, sports, and cooperative games.
Healthy Minds (activities centered around thought and reflection): Paint and sip, dialogue activities, appreciation workshops.
